Detroit, Michigan, United States pamericas... to, was meeting Brad. He's a 15-year old Springsteen fan and we met through BTX and tennis (long stoty, never mind). He lives in Detroit and so made it to the pre party and show. Great to finally meet him. Conor you're next, okay? ;)

The show was amazing. But Bruce does need to polish up his geographical skills. He kept referring to Ohio while he was in Michigan. Ah well, he had a classy way around it: "It took me forty years to **** that up". Ha!<br ...
Detroit, Michigan, United States mariatillemaWell, it never seems like too much luggage, or maybe it does. But after you have all the stuff packed; small bag, big bag, laptop bag, carryon bag, food bag, two big coats, an extra, extra big coat for a friend from Syria, then, THEN it seems like WAY too mucch luggage. Oy! We could travel with smaller bags, but that would mean we would bring fewer gifts, and have less ...

Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States austinairwavesI am still at home. Only one more week. Being away from my home for three weeks requires a lot of preparation. I even know the movie that are going to have on the Flight. I am tired already!! Since I will be on a plane for almost 24 hours, I am collecting all the necessary stuff needed to be comfortable.
Ferndale, Michigan, United States kfworldtravel... caught up at this adorable Italian place called Como's in Ferndale. It was so cute (and very me) overly decorated with Halloween regalia and white Christmas lights. Yet it wasn't tacky like a T.G.I.Friday's instead it was quaint and fun. And my food was amazing and served in HUGE portions. I couldn't finish my steak, green beans, and potatoes.

Then, it was Evil Dead time!! The show was hilarious. Plus, it was industry night, so the audience was filled with ...
Detroit, Michigan, United States tourdevPhew... Going through US Customs was a bit trying... No searching but a lot of questions meant - I supposed - to catch us with something bad... Who knows. We did not loose any meal. We're in the middle of a fairground, with a weak WiFi but OK. The only analog TV channels are from Detroit but the Detroit area offers 22 digital channels, many

Longer day than expected but we grinded the flying condo to a halt. No problem other than a sticking lock on the propane door.
Belleville, Michigan, United States averynetThe city did not look any different than the one I'm from so I had a hard time remembering I was out of my mainland. However, two things were different. 1) If you are going to go shopping then I suggest The Great Lakes Mall. The stores are different from many of the other cities I've shopped in while in Canada- and the prices are much lower. 2) There's a White Castle 5 mins from the mall... with mini burgers.
Detroit, Michigan, United States travel_bug_77... ing photos and spruiking, they sat me up on stage with a clock and half a cow they called a steak. After 45 minutes I had managed to eat all the sides and about ¾ of the steak. I knew if I tried to keep going I would waste what I had managed to eat, so I pulled the pin, much to the boy's dismay as they were cheering me on confident dad could do it. The fact they offered to pay if I failed helped ...

I'm not sure why I found it surprising that of all the talking heads assembled to explain such weirdness, a list that included Gore Vidal, Walter Cronkite, Carl Bernstein and Noam Chomsky, the one who has the smartest, most relevant and entertaining things to say was John Sinclair. If there's a VFW for his Guitar Army, maybe I'll see him there. ************ Stay free: John Sinclair brings it all back home by Brian J. Bowe http://www.metrotimes ...
