    ... like the one next door to our B&B. As we get close we stop and pick up a sandwich and a homemade cupcake for a last picnic with a view.

    Cabo da Rocha is on a point with a lighthouse. It sits on a cliff which drops straight into the Atlantic Ocean. A few sea stacks are in view with Shags and Gulls hanging on against the wind and waves. We can see quite a way out to sea where huge cargo ships, a sail boat, fishing ...

    ... told us he has a trailer load of explosives, but that seems nothing out of the ordinary for the folks in these parts! Our trucker friend spoke with a really heavy deep Southern drawl that made him difficult to understand. He carries 3 CB radios and said that he preferred driving nights.     ... had a mini mass. After church we picked up a couple of things from Whole Foods Market so mum and dad could cook dinner. They made meatballs, they were really nice.
