I added one picture from the day before for Mia and Caroline. I forgot to upload the "rabbit shot with Bud and Bina". Thought they might enjoy it.
For those wondering if the "put America to work" program is working, it is. All across the country we have seen signs and work crews that provide the answer that at least some people are getting jobs.
After spending the night in Rapid City and enjoying all of its strip mall glory, we woke up and took a hike up to Little Devil's Tower in Black Hills National Forest. This was a short but steep and rewarding hike. After scrambling up some rocks, we reached the top and could see the beautiful Cathedral Spires and straight out beyond the hills to the prairie a couple thousand feet below. After our hike we took our a tour at Jewel Caves, which is a ...

... newspapers (Headmaster Ian doing a terrific job). After being tested and the kids reciting their Junior Ranger promise (which was an optional extra I must add) they were bestowed their new rank. The Ranger stood up and announced their award to the whole of the Visitors Centre and a large round of applause followed (well as much noise as 12 people could make). The kids were really chuffed.

Et puis un nouvel arrêt dans un lieu spirituel indien, Medicine Wheel, un cercle de pierres dont nul ne connait l'origine, au sommet d'une montagne... plutôt magique, en tout cas nos prières nous ont ramenés un beau soleil!

Today I was driving to Cody, Wyoming to stay for the night before going to Yellowstone National Park. It was a bit hard to get started in the morning after night before, so I walked into town first to do some shopping and get something for breakfast.
Feeling rejuvenated and hopefully under the limit, I headed off for Cody. On the way I went for a look at the Devils Tower National Monument in Wyoming. This rock formation was made famous in the Close ...
Cody, Wyoming, United States lfont... has animals. I met one life goal by seeing moose in the Grand Tetons but Yellowstone has provided bison, coyotes, elk, one grizzly bear, mule deer, jack rabbits, an eagle, herrings, and one tiny snake. Not just one, but whole herds of bison and elk. I will send on the picture of the bison casually walking next to my car. When I was 13 and made the one day driving trip to Yellowstone, we saw lots of bear coming up to the cars ...

The fender was bent and rubbed the tire and the luggage bag support was broken. They managed to patch it up after a pit stop at Home Depot. They are trying to ...
Cody, Wyoming, United States dm3... before we headed over to the 'Cody Rodeo.' People come from all over the country to go to this rodeo. It was very impressive to watch some of the activities like bull riding, calf roping... My back hurt just watching some of the rides. This evening, we came back to the RV and cooked out. Keith and Kim are in the space right next to us so it works out great. The weather was perfect(cool, no bugs). After we had dinner, Kelly took the boys to sell some of the 'glow ...
