... starting mid New York and getting dark-I am on a non freeway winding and narrow road-hwy, 7, 9 and 101 to Amherst New Hampshire where I will meet a cousin of Jim's that we had corresponded with for many years and never met. ... New Hampshire! Hoy 2 cervezas nuevas riquísimas:
- Dogfish 60 minute. Parecida a la Old brown dog ale ya que tiene mucho cuerpo aunque el sabor es más de ale que de negra
- Una cerveza riquísima con sabor a arándanos. Curioso porque era suave pero no era empalagosa. Muy buena elección también

Sector gatuno:
A estos gatos no les hacemos ni caso. El malote del otro día a veces nos pide entrar pero ni caso. Son muy bonitos pero no muy cariñosos. Así nos llevamos bien.

So we managed to find our way home after an incredible summer. In just over 5 weeks we were in 29 States, drove 12,700 miles, visited 5 World Heritage Sites, many wonderful state and national parks, saw great cities, awesome beaches and fantastic friends and family. This was a time I will cherish forever.

... although 85 miles was too short! The climbing went well and compared to the beginning of the trip it was quite satisfying to be able to conquer all the hills without coming close to having to walk. ... down the street from a huge NASCAR track, so even the sushi/chinese place we went for dinner had hoods of racecars emblazoned with beer logos hanging on the walls. A bit country, but we're moving to the sticks soon so we'll have to get used to it.

It was great to catch up with Karalyn and Ray and meet little Braden. But tomorrow the real honeymoon begins!

Monday in New Hampshire, we had a leisurely morning before going to the Greenfield State Park. We were the only people in the park. We followed a trail that led us around Hog Pond. We had to keep moving because of the bugs but it was achingly beautiful. Then we headed to Bennington and Shaw's grocery for lobster. Robert Frost wrote most of his poetry when he lived at Franconia, just to the north. The Old Man of the Mountain granite head profile, symbol of the state, is at Franconia too.
