... better than that of LSU.
Getting back on the road, we stopped in Cleveland to check out the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The building was impressive, but the City was not. The displays were nice, but we weren't real R&R fans. There were lots of displays of old musical equipment used by the legends of R&R.
Back to the road.
ahhh! It's been so long since I've written something.
I had been really busy with work. Everyday from 8-5:30. And I was still teaching English classes some nights.
I'm finally back in the states. Visiting for a month. Then it's back to Costa Rica January 4th.
Completely in reverse culture shock! I can't believe I'm back. Everyone speaks English. I keep accidentally kissing people on the cheek when ...
I just got the bike out of the shop! I've added heated HANDLEBAR inserts (not heated grips), which work great! I also added a cruise-mate lever, so I don't have to mess with that stupid wheel thingey which is standard on the bike.
I also bought Gerbing heated jacket liner and glove liners.
AND, added a mud flap to the ...
... continues to amaze and perplex me. I can only imagine they have worse depth perception than I do. And mine is pretty bad. The solomon's and harriss's stone walls are more than happy to vouch.
Once of off 95, past the city and out of NJ there hasn't even been a significant amount of traffic so (luckily...or unfortunately) that can't even provide any sort of storyline in which I complain about overpopulation and ...
... as many wires as the old set. And not as bulky.
Been in touch with two of the other riders; we are having another meeting on Dec. 29th to pay for some of the items we will all be sharing the cost for, ie...plastic adhesive covering for chrome and paint, Canadian National Park pass, etc.
We returned to Betsy's parents house from our time in Mexico. After throwing a few more things away - we took off in our car on a road trip to Cindy Snow's wedding in Arkansas. We visited our friends Bill and Chuck in Cincinnati, then we followed the Ohio river to the Mississipi. We stopped at some small towns along the way like Metropolis (the home of superman).
Berea, Ohio, United States betsypetersnowWe left Florida and drove to Berea via Winston Salem so we could visit Jed and Cecilie (Peter's nephew). When we arrived in Berea we spent the month of March getting Betsy's parents house ready to put on the market. The house market in Cleveland is horrible so we thought we better try to sell the house as soon as possible so they would be ready to move into their new retirement apartment in Chagrin Falls when is was completed in the fall.
Berea, Ohio, United States betsypetersnow... the falls, we grabbed some lunch at the Bada Bean cafe in Niagara Falls, which was very tasty and healthy, and then we got back in the car. We drove on to Cleveland, drove around the city a bit, and then went on to Sandusky, Ohio where we got a room in the Super 8. We had peanut butter sandwiches, etc. for lunch and just vegged and watched tv. It was nice to have some down time. Tomorrow, on to Chicago.
Cleveland, Ohio, United States zoeh... Their ability to emote both the fullness and depth of the lower musical registers as well as the bright, higher notes usually associated with violins created a gorgeous sound that was an inspiration to hear.
The Cleveland area is of special significance to the Choir and Orchestra because the nearby community of Kirtland was the first major gathering place for early members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In the 1830’s, many significant ...
