    ... shop, The Merchant, Jack’s and The Boat Shed. I was able to buy some lovely gifts for Claire for her birthday on July 11th. It was good to have quality retail therapy. Karen was great to shop with – I enjoyed it immensely. Bill cooked mackerel for dinner – it promised so much, and delivered! Mmmmm.

    Wednesday and it’s the first of July. Around 8.30, we left Cottesloe, Perth and our wonderful hosts and drove north towards New Norcia. ...

    ... we are back on the right side of the tracks and into the car park. While Kevin organises kids etc I head for the pay station. Lots of instructions about Transperth travel cards and registering for things we don't have. Bugger.

    Back in the car and down the road. Try to squeeze into a park on the street but this car is just too damn big. Finally we find a car park with normal instructions we understand.
