    Going home

Stayed over in Charlotte last night. It was our first experience with AirBNB and it went well. Jonathan and his partner were very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. On the other hand our flight experience was not nearly as good. USAir/American Airlines really screwed the pooch. They were asking for volunteers to give up seats and we decided ...

It has been reconstructed and there are working buildings, some with guides in costume to talk about the various trades etc. The first one we came to had a nice man who after we talked for a bit asked us if we would like to throw a tomahawk. It didn't take me long to discover that there was a whole row of three empty seats at the very back of the plane, and I sat there for extended periods during the flight, which made me feel a lot more comfortable, especially as I could look out of the window. I don't like it when all the window shades are pulled down ...

This wasn't a trip on my schedule. One of my friends asked if I would pick up this part of her trp for her and I said I would. I wanted to get more hours anyway. I flew with 3 people that I've never flown with before. The captain was Mike, the first officer was Joe and the flight attendant was Sam. We just went to Birmingham and back and we were done. We were ready to leave and the captain made an ...
