Well, our long awaited trip is finally here! We anticipate leaving home tomorrow by 6:30am with our first night's rest in St. Clair, MO. We will then travel to Elk City, OK for night #2 and our 3rd night will be in Grants, NM.

... NY and had a wonderful lunch along the shore of Lake Erie. The water was a beautiful blue/green color and an old stone lighthouse was a short distance away. Did I mention the shipwreck?

On our way back from there, stopped in for lunch at a great little diner set up to look like a railway car with the additional features of a science straight out of a fifties diner. Excellent service and food too, as evidenced by the fact we had to wait in line for a table. The following night, Saturday, we enjoyed an outdoor barbecue dinner beside the pool.
