We had a leisurely informal breakfast in our hotel room in Niagara Falls, Ontario, before starting out for the Finger Lakes. I thought it might be nice to get some Buffalo Wings - great US favorite, especially for the Superbowl - at their home in Buffalo - the Anchor Bar... along with some loganberry soda...but I don't think it is carbonated. ... all ready for an early night and a rest the next day. Our travels so far have taken us far and wide so some down time is needed.

We are staying in Buffalo as it is only a half hour drive to Niagara Falls. This place is spectacular for its views but we are all surprised at how commercial it is. The day we head there is very warm and humid and there are people everywhere taking in the wonder of this place. We do the walk and then head down to the Maid ...
