There was a nice reception upon our arrival. Good news: Happy hour in the bar until 7 PM! Also several restaurants in the area gave options for dinner and breakfast. Wifi was good and the room was comfortable.

Greg use our Pathfinder to drop us in Bridgeport at the train station for our journey to Grand Central station in New York. The train was timed for 1:12pm and the fare was $27 per head return (£16), the UK should ashamed of itself. a journey to Manchester a similar distance would twice as expensive just for a one way ticket.

Yesterday (the 15th?) I sorted out a few things at CSH, the campus is quite pretty at the moment with all the snow, and the harbor/inlet is partially frozen. I managed to go into Huntington in the afternoon (the nearest "village"). It seemed nice, there were banks and places that sell phones and supermarkets. Cell phone plans surprisingly expensive ($35 a month was the cheapest, but had ...
The stress set in for me 2 days before we leave. I haven't slept more then 4 hours out of 48 and Nuno and I have barely eaten. So much to do, so little time. We are not anxious about the trip itself, rather tying up loose ends in our daily, responsibility, obligation filled lives. We are both working overtime in addition to making sure our home is ready for Bruno to stay in. Are sheets and towels ...
