There was a nice reception upon our arrival. Good news: Happy hour in the bar until 7 PM! Also several restaurants in the area gave options for dinner and breakfast. Wifi was good and the room was comfortable.

Greg use our Pathfinder to drop us in Bridgeport at the train station for our journey to Grand Central station in New York. The train was timed for 1:12pm and the fare was $27 per head return (16), the UK should ashamed of itself. a journey to Manchester a similar distance would twice as expensive just for a one way ticket.

After an eventful and very cooling journey, the air con on the trains is very fierce, we ...

Yes, we were Boarded while underway by the U S Coast Guard, Luckily I have a wife who believes in Safety. All that they were looking for was on the Boat and Brand New. They were pleased, probably more so that we were wearing our Personal Flotation Devices( life jackets) They issued ...

... tracks but they were snowed under, so I stuck to the roads. Plenty of interesting buildings, old and new, also there were squirrels and a woodpecker...Went down to the beach, no one there funnily enough (it was about 30 degrees). I also found some very strange hoof-prints in the snow, as well as those of a large dog. One can only conclude moose and wolves.

Tomorrow is my first real day of real work at a real job that I can get fired from, neato.

The stress set in for me 2 days before we leave. I haven't slept more then 4 hours out of 48 and Nuno and I have barely eaten. So much to do, so little time. We are not anxious about the trip itself, rather tying up loose ends in our daily, responsibility, obligation filled lives. We are both working overtime in addition to making sure our home is ready for Bruno to stay in. Are sheets and towels ...
