The trip to the airport was uneventful and quite straight forward. It did get a little tricky when we approached Heathrow though.
Heathrow is enormous, as you'd expect to be as it's the world's largest airport. We had to find a petrol station to fill the hire car up, no real problem there. What was confusing was trying to work out where to leave the car. This turned out to be at Terminal 1 with a 15 minute courtesy bus trip around ...
