    ... out at the top, we moored alongside Merlin while we sorted out a licence for the Wey. 71 for the rest of the year.

    ... time has been really special and we feel incredibly lucky to have been able to do it. It has been wonderful for the children and for me to have Matt back after three such intense years working on Somalia, and fingers crossed we get to see a little more of him in his next job working on Central and Southern Africa!     ... and in dire need of stretching out our legs!

    We had just enough time to gobble down our dinner (penne arriabiata minus the chillies for me!) before mum started getting fidgety. She did not want to be late for that flight!

    The airport was teary to say the least. I am going to miss mum a lot, and I am so proud of her.

    I would write more but my 'complementary 45 minutes free wi if'is running out!

    ... up to our expectations! In other words, we could not envisage living in them for 12 months. We found a really nice one, well looked after, a Nissan Serena and we very nearly bought it for 5,500, until we realised that the drivers seat and the front passenger seat simply reclined to make 2 single beds and any form of cuddling was out. It's funny if you are not a campervan type person how you start picking up the terminology on the way. ...
