    ... this weekend at home and am back to playing football (which is bloody hard work after 4 months of doing minimal exercise!), which feels good. I definitely feel like I have had my fill of travelling for the moment.

    I don't really know how to conclude this....... Maybe I should write a cringey #gapyah line....

    ... a further bit of sweet talking enabled them to admit 1.5 guests each which is great given our layover here is 6 hours (don't ask, long story)!! Tara and I have amused ourselves with a spot of shopping and some makeup lessons at Bobbie Brown but we're back now with the boys and a glass of champagne - grown ups that is, kids on the diet coke! So far the plane looks like it's on time so fingers crossed it stays that way and we'll be jetting off in 2 hours ...

    ... causing any fuss.

    We were unsure what standard of service and food to expect on the flight to Beijing, but were prepared to rough it! Actually, they were both better than expected, and we had a pleasant enough flight. As I was down for a special meal, I got my food early and even had samosas for breakfast!

    There was some dispute about the seat arrangements but Lily enjoyed her window seat, eventually:

    Our cruise arrived back in port Saturday morning and after breakfast we left for the airport to fly to Paris. Greece was on Paul’s bucket list to visit and Paris was on mine. Our studio unit, located in the heart of Paris, was another booking on VRBO.
