... Tom, Ian, Emily and I opted for the longer walk. It had a lovely view. It was also nice to have a decent walk after being on the bus. It was very warm and very humid. After the walk we went down to the lake and had a swim, the weather had improved and it was sunny, but the lake was really cold! Had a nice swim though, and the played frisbee with the group. It was really nice ...

Today was a throwback! We started the day by driving to Pittsford, NY where Adam grew up and knocking on the door of his neighbor across the street, the Haleems. Adam and Javeriah were inseparable as kids and Noor, her mother was Adam's second mom. Noor answered the door and was shocked to see Adam with his family. We spent an hour catching up and then Noor took everyone across the street to the ...

I sat down and waited and, after an hour or so, the ...

First, if you are 62 or older, the greatest deal going is the Senior Pass. It is available at most National Parks for a one-time cost of $10.00. From then on your entry into the National Parks, Forests, etc., is free ...

I could not sleep. After being awake for 22 hours yesterday I think I got about 3 hours sleep and I was up and dressed by 5:30 so even though I felt wide awake it is going to catch up with me. Lexx and I went down for breakfast at 6:30 where I met Hannah and then we congregated in the hotel lobby at 7:30. We found out our tour leader is a guy called Drew, he seems pretty cool and including me there are 12 people on the trek, Lexx, Lyndsey, Nicola, Molly, ...
