... about evolutionary mechanisms! though I remember there were many times in medical school where we'd learn about a mechanism where there really is no evolutionary basis behind it.. it just is. As far as we know. Then we walked along a long bridge. There were little coin candy machine-looking things every few yards. You could insert a quarter and instead of candy, get fish food! We had a lot of fun tossing the fish food into the lake. We gathered ...

So the area my parents live in has a famous attraction called Callaway Gardens.  It's a 2,500 acres of gorgeous land, containing manicured landscapes, golf courses, horticultural centers, chapel, trails, lakes, sandy beach, and more!  They hold many special events including concerts and hot air balloon festival! In the morning, I had breakfast with Larkin and Hannah while Brian got more sleep. Around 2:45pm we hit the road again, aiming for New Orleans.

I'm typical Atlanta style, we hit traffic: even at 2:45 on a Tuesday. But it was painless and we were making ...

... to Colorado, up to Yellowstone, back down through Utah to the Grand Canyon, and back across the US to Atlanta. I remember driving through the most boring state of Kansas (sorry Kansas), feeding chipmunks in Rocky Mountain National Park, picking up poop in Yellowstone and asking what it was, seeing Old Faithful , seeing the Grand Canyon, and renting a motel room in Jackson MS that was already occupied ...
