... you kind folk. Merci beaucoup! So much so, I decided to turn down the offer of an elelphant just this afternoon even though I had been reliably informed they have a history of helping people cross the Alps.
I'll close now as it's going to be an early night for me. I expect it will be a long, arduous day similar to the first day through the Pyrenees last year. Let's see if I can beat 11 hours this time.

We just finished the tour du Mont Blanc - 180km, 3 countries, 9 days! Also some sore feet by the end...
actually it was probably some of the nicest hiking we have ever done - stayed in some lovely hotels and mountain refuges, ate amazing food each day, good wine each night!
Think Andy was a bit de estates to be in Chamonix in summer rather than winter, but ...

Shopping in Milan in am in Galleria. Vittorio Emmanuelle II shopping mall. Only thing we could afford was souvenirs. Hannah and allie did go in the Louis Vitton store. Duomo. 3rd oldest church. ... The pics will tell you the story, simply breathtaking. Even the "step into the void" with its 1000m fall below held no fears.
