Day 7 of 10: 8 December 2012 (Saturday)
We had a free and easy day at the Alpensia Ski Resort, some of us went for skiing while some went to the Ocean 700 Waterpark.
It was a tiring day for all of us after all these activities.

0915: After breakfast on our own, we left for our day trip to Samcheok on the same chartered coach.

0830: We chartered a coach with Tour Road for our Alpensia Ski Resort trip.

1000: Left and continued with our journey.
1110: Arrived at Chuncheon Myeongdong, we shopped and walked around separately.
... weather. The resort was rather small compared to resorts in the Alps, but big enough for a day, with slopes for different skills and a fun park for snowboarders. The service there is really good - you get the latest rental gear from Burton for a very reasonable price. The lifts were modern too (Austrian quality! ;)) and there are plenty cafés and snack ...
... strange saunas that are shaped and decorated like pyramids. We found the main sleeping hall and discovered that it had 2 big screen TVs playing some random Korean program loudly. Most people were milling around, visiting with friends or family. We looked down at the marble floors, which were heated just enough that they weren't cold, and then at each other. There were no blankets or sleeping pads, all we could find were little block shaped pillows ...
