A really nice hotel with easy access to the airport, and a convenient shuttle service. Staff allowed us to check in early. Very quiet and clean hotel.

Comfortable, Convenient, But hope Nothing Goes Wrong

      Large comfortable room
Location is convenient for the airport by complimentary shuttle bus
Reachable from the city by metro and a 15 minute walk
Staff friendly at first, but when the door lock jammed denying entry they blamed the guests. But the technician who opened it said it was a battery failure. It meant waiting an hour late at night for the technician to arrive and then a change of room. No apology was offered and no compensation. The hotel was prepaid, but on check out the next morning, there was some additional tax to pay of Euro 5.11. Having the exact coins of Euro 5.10 to offer was not good enough; they insisted on having Euro 5.11, which meant giving notes and getting a lot more coins in change. For all the disruption of the night before they were not prepared to offer even 1 cent in compensation.

After three weeks on the road, visiting so many interesting places and being exposed to so many new impressions- hereby my reflections of our incredible holiday, China/Tibet 2014. We have been on buses hoping to reach the right destination, been in a snowstorm, hiked up an ice road, reached up to 5,180 meters, walked the kora several times with the pilgrims, slept at a monastery, slept with 5 layers of clothing, gone more than 3 days without a shower, walked The Great Wall, taken ...

      Tour de France

... Amsterdam, we checked in to our hotel and set off to find the venue. We took the train and then had to walk a long way to cross the Erasmus bridge. There were thousands of fans walking with us. The atmosphere was fun and festive. The downside was there's so much time spent waiting around and in a split second the cyclists pass you by and before you know it, it's over! The following day, the Tour made several loops around the city before heading off ...

... wearing not very much selling their services. Some of which are gorgeous, others not so much. But they're not just on the street and they won't hassle or approach you. I didn't at any stage feel unsafe or concerned. There are a couple of adult theatres with numerous different shows and judging by the queue outside, very popular with a wide range of people. Our tour guide then pulls us up to a neon lit place and says here you can have a good laugh for just two euros and I recommend ...

... and I were able to get boarding passes and were able to get through their costumes departure point Customs/ immigration fingerprinted us and took pictures of us and then we finally were able to get on On Kenya air. ... and it didn't help that they kept grabbing our plates before we were done). We had two free drinks with dinner, and I don't drink, so I gave mine to Jerry since he only had like €9 to get him through the rest of the tour, haha. Most people went out after dinner since it was our last night all together on the tour. I didn't, though. I went to bed early and slept until my inconsiderate roommate brought a guy home into the bunk right above me. -_-
