good family accom and the kids loved the pool. clean quite and staff friendly and helpful. not alot to do but the beach and and poll was more than enough for my lot

... again toward a pigeon loft. Wondering why there would be such a structure in this remote location, a google search explained that perhaps pigeons were brought here, tail feathers plucked to produce erratic flight , and then released for target practice by local marksmen. There were signs of some rebuilding of the tower but fortunately no marksmen were on site today!

... the ridges. We could see some signs of the recent rainfall, there was some erosion and a few puddles of water...generally a rare sight in this part of Spain. Eventually we came to an old ruin where we stopped for lunch. Then we finished our hike, climbing back along the side of the ridge to complete the circle and return to our cars.

We were happy to see Dany at the airport after a long day of travel. This morning Maria took us to the hospital on her way to work (to check my INR), we walked to the train station to make a reservation for tomorrow to meet Mike Spiller in Madrid, and caught a tram back to the Esteban's home. Today we are doing laundry and packing for the Camino de Santiago. We plan to stay in Madrid overnight and travel to Pamplona on Sunday. So far we've traveled 14,001 ...
