Our hotel had its own customer laundry so we were able to luxuriate in our room in between cycles.
We stayed in the city so ventured around the corner for dinner and then a couple of beers at a little dive bar.
The city seemed safe and organised after being in Detroit.
... listening to music, banter and seeing America :) After a quick picnic lunch we headed for the museum, from Beatles to Beyoncé, Elvis to Hendrix and Wonder to Charles, the rock and roll hall of fame was a homage to all the great rock and roll stars of all time and some fantastic memorabilia and artefacts could be seen in the museum. Load out didn't take any more than the typical two - three hour timeline that we are used to, so nothing really changed there. It was nice to go directly into another day off. Only three more shows with KISS, than two in Mexico as just us. This summer is going WAY too fast.
... from wind turbines on separate trucks. Wow, are they big. After a little Goggle search, I found that they measure 116 feet long and sit on a 212 foot high tower, with a total of 328 feet! Keith sure looks very small next to one. Not an easy item to transport.
Arrived home around 7pm.
Next trip in October, it will be a short summer......
