Today I bus to Frankfurt. I've been there before a long time ago when I worked for Penguins doing the book fair. I'd seen a little of the city then but it has grown in stature since and is more of a financial hub. It laden with foreigners it's not unlikeable though and has a lively atmosphere. Like Berlin there are some amazing smells around the city but also like ...

We decided to look through the Royal Reception Rooms and did this until 12. The royal reception rooms are used by Queen Margrethe ...

Flight to Frankfurt was delayed by 1 hour. Eventually found trnsfer person and got to caravan pick up point. After another hour wait got our van which has a broken awning but negotiate 2 chiars insted of price reduction. Bev thought that was good. Twice round Friedberg until we found an Aldi and got supplies. Set off for France but pulled up on the autobahn following the autofahrt for tea; Eventually pulled up at a site next to a lake for the night.

During this festive time of year, I am going to take a break from my travels in Italy and France to discover Christmas in a whole new light. How do Europeans celebrate Christmas? There must be a myriad of traditions that come alive during Christmastime and I am going to seek them out and share them with you. Living in Florida, I pine for the mountains, a gentle ...
