... rumors that lineups at security were quite long, and so we got there pretty early. Luckily for the me rumors were unsubstantiated and I breezed through into the shopping mall that is terminal 2. It was really sad to say goodbye to Sharena and Sunny - the final farewell of my UK trip. Even now, almost four days later, I still have not grasped the enormity of the transition. It didn't seem real then. It felt like I would see them again in a few days.
Today I discovered that British Starbursts are better than American Starbursts. First, because the British have more flavors of Starburst, like lime and grape. And second, because British Starbursts have fun little games and trivia printed on their wrappers. For example, today I got "Play air guitar for your friends," and “Sing a song without moving your tongue.” The PAs and I had good times swapping wrappers.

There is an evergreen oak in the grounds of this college which was 200 years old and it was in the harry potter film. The scene is from the 4th movie with Malfoy sitting on the branch of the tree. This was the last college we visted we could have gone to more but we decided to head to the most famous pub in Oxford which is the White Horse pub. It was around 4pm so ...
... sordid affair. Wandering back to the hotel we came across a pizza cafe so decided to get a takeaway. Was a bit taken back at first because we were the only ones in the cafe apart from the owner and his two friends who were enjoying pizza and wine at the back of the cafe. They were very welcoming though and so we ordered a drink from the bar while waiting for our order. Got chatting to the waiter who mentioned his daughter was traveling through ...
I checked on the price of a flight through Expedia yesterday and found a multiple stop flight to Adelaide for £675. Now I'm no expert but I think this is quite reasonable, and it's kind of what I expected. From this point on I'm just saving what I need now, as the funds I was given have finally cleared. My debts are paid, everything is now money in my pocket for Oz!
