After the disappointment of not witnessing my first hurricane; again, we had to hole up in a coffee shop as the storm was ahead of us. This wasn't an unpleasant experience as I managed to catch up on a few entries in the blog.

El Dia de los Muertos
... de cette tradition : chacun passe la nuit a cote de la tombe de ses proches disparus, car la croyance veut que cette nuit là permette un rapprochement des vivants et des morts. Les tombes sont magnifiquement décorées avec des fleurs oranges, typiques de cette fête, avec des photos, des fruits, des aliments ou choses qui plaisaient a la personne de son vivant. Et toutes sont recouvertes de bougies.

Living in Morelia
