Sunday in Eindhoven
Sunday: slept in, had a small breakfast and just chilled.
After a lunch of leftovers, we went for a long walk along the Dommel. Its all very nicely kept parklands on both banks, and it opens up into a large park (Genneper park).
Tonight we're having chicken soup for dinner - nothing too exciting.

Back in Eindhoven for 2012
... and it was 30+ euros! Afterwards we walked through the rain to the Van Abbemuseum, which is the most renowned (only?) art museum in Eindhoven. Every first Thursday of the month they do a free night entry - which is why we went then. The museum had mostly modern art, most of which was pretty out there. And of course the usual smattering of "outsider art" - **** glued together in such a way as to inspire ...
Saturday
... Australia vs Barbarians). I only watched half of the game because I was alone, and the pub was pretty crowded. I was also the only one watching the game, most people were just chatting or watching the English Premier League (soccer).
Tomorrow I plan on cleaning the apartment and cooking some meals in the afternoon - chicken soup and red sauce (not together).

I arrived yesterday afternoon, and after catching the train to Eindhoven (very easy from Schipol, there is a direct train every 30 minutes) I walked with my 40 kg of luggage to the apartment. ...
Oliebollen
... because I was going to need it anyway to get back to the states and I felt like the 45 euro bag I found was an alright deal. It was only 9 kg when I checked it through on my flight back to Dublin but it will definitely be packed closer to 50 pounds for the flight back to America!
