well after i left the hippy yoga camp, i made my way back to the UK for a small festival in the mid-lands. it was a fun time. i worked as a nurse in the first aid tent with my friend bec. looked after many a wasted teenager and treated lots of wasp stings...exciting stuff.
then i made the move to arctic finland for a fantastic experience working on a husky farm.
the days were long, the dogs were beautiful and i had such a great time living with 10 other volunteers ...

E.D.: bald ist es soweit, morgen werden wir den nördlichsten Punkt - den 'Höhepunkt' - unserer Reise erreichen. Ansonsten gibt es da nicht so viel zu erzählen, Finnland ist schön, aber die Strecke ist schon recht langweilig, große, breite und vor allem gerade Strassen.
Das Wetter ist genial, stahlblauer Himmel und fast 20 Grad - mehr kann man nicht wollen.

Slow day in Helsinki
Today we didnt have much planned before training it up to Rovaniemi. We visited th Lutheran cathedral and the square was full of giant bears of every nationality. Dad didnt like the Canadianone predictably.
There was a small market where I bought some yellow mushrooms. They went nicely with cheese on our Finnish pasty things. I also made some glogg with the cheap wine that dad bought on the boat.
Harri came home from work an we had to say goodbye so then we left for Rovaniemi.
