    ... to the station. The park is across a lake from the downtown section of Nanjing, so you could get a great view of the city. In the park people were rollerblading and flying kites with blinking lights on them.

    Our train didn't leave until 10 pm - because my colleague had to teach a class until 5. We decided to take the slow train and sleep the whole way to Beijing and arrive rested early Sat morning.

    On Thursday morning we were informed that Thursday night the school was preparing a dinner for us. The dinner was to celebrate 3 things - Mid Autumn Festival, Teachers Day, and our arrival in Yixing. The school was going to be closed on Monday for the Mid Autumn Festival, so I made plans with one of the other Americans to visit Beijing over the weekend.
