Today we took a trip to see how green and black tea is processed. It was pretty amazing. Each tea leaf is picked individually by hand (by about 200 workers). There is a specific criteria for the leaves that must be followed about size and when they are picked. It is all pretty fascinating. One of the teachers at school arranged for our students to give us a tour of the nearby sites. The students arrived at my hotel at 11 am. The father of one of the students was our driver and we went to one of the local caves. Across the street from the caves we went and had lunch. The food for the most part was pretty good.

... to the station. The park is across a lake from the downtown section of Nanjing, so you could get a great view of the city. In the park people were rollerblading and flying kites with blinking lights on them.

Our train didn't leave until 10 pm - because my colleague had to teach a class until 5. We decided to take the slow train and sleep the whole way to Beijing and arrive rested early Sat morning.
