A bit harder to get up today and go for a 40 minute run. I am glad I did in the end. I ran too and then across the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I noticed the number of people who were walking from North Sydney in to work over the bridge. A good start to anyone's day. The number of cars and trains made it clear that this was a work day and not a weekend day. I had some good ...

We finally got there only to realize that the markets are closed On Monday ...

Wow what a day! It's been a long one but I'm feeling quite good about my jet lag, it is now 12:22am and I am on my way home. It's the latest I've been up since I've been here! Today started with breaky of bacon and egg on toast with BBQ sauce made for me by John, my generous host! While he cooked I read the morning paper and drank a delicious cuppa "coffee". It was lovely! After breakfast John drove me around manly and showed me some of the sights! Curl curl beach, freshwater beach, ...

Our second trip to Sydney was to meet some relatives of friends back in PEI. Kathy Ready’s mom Flora Thompson has a cousin Anne who lives here in Sydney. Anne from Vancouver and her husband Len from Germany, met here in the 60’s. Anne worked as a nurse and Len on the railway, married ...
