The countdown is well and truly on. Only a few days til we jet off for about six weeks of adventure. As I've been saying for at least the last twelve months if not longer, "I can't wait!"

Everything is sorted - planes, trains, automobiles, ferries - but so far no helicopters, hovercraft, segways, skateboards or bicycles (Though with Amsterdam on the list of cities to visit, you just never know.)

We'll start ...

Starting the day in a similar way to yesterday trying to find a
supermarket. Apparently, the people of Australia don't do Saturday
mornings. We walked for 35 mins to a find a decent food shop that was open!
So after heading back after (said with the aussie accent) 'breakie' we
headed for the ferry terminals. And off to Manly we ...

Town hall station will give you access to the beautiful high-Victorian "QVB" sumptuous shopping mall. Nearby is the lavish State Theatre, which does tours as well as performances.

In the west are Chinatown which has many eating options and Darling Harbour (get off at Town hall station) which has all sorts of eateries/bars and entertainment as well as Aquarium & Casino. ...
