Sunday I decided to go up one of the mountains and see the famous Tea farms that are here. They have an area where you can see the farms, drink tea of course buy some if you would like. You have to go to the very end of one of the MRT lines to Taipei Zoo and then get on the Gondolas. It cost $100NT for the return trip which is about $4.. Very cheap for the experience you get! There are a total of 3 stops on the gondola and I went to the top! The view in frount ...

... and I will get one for you!! The view was pretty amazing, you could walk around and see different parts of the city that a lit up at night, it kind of reminded me of when I flew into Taipei and the first thing I saw was all the beautiful lights of the city! You are also able to view the giant ball (the damper) they have to help if there is an earthquake, they have even made it look like a cartoon character which of course they sell!! They have actually turned it into ...

Is the better option the egg dish because it's something familiar to to us westerners, or is it the rice ...

Hmm.... Where to begin. Today I was in Taoyan City, Taiwan. I've been here for two days now, and I will either leave tomorrow night or Friday Night. I do not know what the outcome will be at this very moment; That is due to the situation that I have been presented.

I was presented an opportunity to Teach English in this town last week. It all sounded good, however when I got here the Recruiter and Boss at this English school had a major mis-communication. I was ...

... After that I decided it was time to go to my next destination, the "Tian Hou Gong" in Xi Men, which is just one station away. The Xi Men district, or Xi Men Ding I think, is quite a hip neighbourhood where the youths of Taiwan hang out. Daniel reckons it's like the Shibuya of Taipei, but less hyped up. Originally, I wanted to walk it but was glad in the end that I didn't try to save 20c and just caught the MRT. There was suppose to be a ...
