Well our first day could have been a disaster but turned out fine. Our flight from LAX to Taiwan was delayed and we missed our connecting flight to Bangkok. So the airline paid for a hotel and put us on the first flight out today.(Saturday). Free room was a plus and so was adjusting to the time change before we get to Thailand. BTW what a trade for the Lakers!!!!!!

With our new transportation we can now head to the coast, including the wonderful Nan Liao, where people fly kites, ride bikes (of all shapes and sizes) and give their dogs a good airing. It also has an amazing fish market and an outdoor coffee-shop with an alarming mix of old-school music cds.

Confucious Temples And Lovely Taiwanese
... 8220;Yeh, what” or something similar. The temple is quite close to the Taipei domestic airport and planes would fly really close every twenty minutes or so. It was quite a sight!
