    ... Six months ago, I never knew this connection.....in God's time it finally happened! Also loved sharing stories of visits to these towns when I was a young girl. Especially the uncle I was scared to death of who always said he would flush me down the toilet if I didn't behave!! Will have to show Gavin a picture of him when we return home! I always thought he was scary looking!! More thoughts after returning home ...

    ... headed to Branson, Missouri bright and early, well early by our standards... We pit stop for fuel and are on our way across southern Kansas into Springfield Missouri and then south into Branson. There are no interstates here so we're heading out two lane highways all the way.

    ... address these one at a time, starting with what has scared me the most, so far? This one is easy; I just about got run over by a truck in Yellowstone National Park. It happened on a narrow park road and the truck was long and loaded with gravel. The truck and another car passed, just as I went around a fallen log. Three into two don't go and I ended up right beside the truck, just in front of the trailer rear wheels. I don't know how ...

    ... this experience, although I am missing home a little bit now I've been on the road for a week. My stomach can't tolerate a few aspects of american cuisine so once again I'm fighting with Acid reflux. Have managed to shift the jetlag tho, which is a small win.

    I'll hope to update this post with some pictures later on, but I don't have the time this morning to pull them off the camera and upload them.
