A hotel is judged by how welcoming and efficient the staff of the hotel are, how comfortable the rooms are and how many facilities are available at the premises. Well, Holiday Inn & Suites hotel across Universal Studios, Orlando certainly sets the bar for every hotel present in Orlando.
Main reason for visiting Orlando, for many people, is usually visiting the Universal Studios. Holiday Inn & Suites is in 10-15 minutes walking distance from the Universal Studios, if this does not satisfy you I am sure that their free shuttle service will. Holiday Inn & Suites is one of the few hotels that provide free shuttle service to Universal studios and also, Disneyland.
The rooms here are complete with all basic requirements a tourist would need. Iron, Microwave, Refrigerator, Comfortable beds, Soft relaxing single seat sofa, 32" LED television, Coffee maker and hair dryer. These are all what their rooms are loaded up with.
My recommendation to anyone visiting Orlando and plan on to visit Universal and is looking for a hotel. Look no further. My trip is almost on it's end and I can happily say this hotel has made my trip affordable as well as relaxing.

... Swimming with the manatees was fun but if you want the best experience, go in the fall/winter months.
Have been enjoying our stay in Florida but the heat and humidity are quite intense on some days. It does rain frequently and cools is down for a short time but then the humidity gets worse and the steam starts rising from the rain water. Feel like I can never get dry. Showers and air conditioning have been my survival.
After squeezing in a few last minute rides like Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain (which Connor was big enough to ride and LOVED!) we headed over to find a spot for the parade. After the parade they had a "Celebrate the Magic" show where they projected images onto Cinderella's Castle. It was AMAZING! This may have been my favorite part of the day. The pictures don't do it justice.
The kids were so well behaved all day and more or less lasted ...
... the Rock It coaster alone while the rest of us visited the DeLorean from Back to the Future so I could get the customary photo. The train from Back to the Future III was also there so several photos were taken! If only I could have sat inside, sigh. We also watched the Universal Parade which compared to Disney was pretty poor. About six floats and all children’s characters, no transformers or marvel stuff, not even the classic Universal characters ...
... and relax. Stay til about 4pm then go to Green Cafe for lunch/dinner. Stomach not feeling too well but hungry. Have a smoothie and sandwich. Stomach now feeling worse for drive home. Drop Lucy at hotel, get gas, snacks then back to hotel. Watch some football before bed. Stomach not doing well at all (hurts).
Wake up 4:15am and get ready. Drive to airport, drop off car and go into terminal. Get a snack then hang out by Lucy's gate. Say goodbye then I go to my gate and ...
Yesterday tired us all out, very hot and humid, so today we're checking out of Portofino and moving onto Disney Old Key West. Planning to spend the afternoon by the pool, then more fun at theme parks this evening.
Lots of fun rides at Universal yesterday, some making Gary feel sicky. Got to go on Hogwarts Express, but unfortunately the queue for the new Gringotts ride was still massive (150mins) so didn't get to do that. Did see Diagon alley though.
