      ... br> We got as far as Harrisonburg, Virginia where we found a nice little KOA cabin to take shelter in. Now, apparently this KOA was special because not only was there a great place to eat near by, but they actually did deliveries to the KOA! Once we found this out we took the chance to have a nice hot meal brought to our door. And no regrets were had that night.

      ... rocks and we couldn't see where we had to step. They were also huge leaves so sometimes it felt like I was going snowboarding down the mountain on leaves. I have little feet so this wasn’t a problem for Chris. Haha! The views at the top of the trail were fantastic and we took some great photos.       ... in the Rocky Mountains and traveled around the world, including the Andes and Himalaya Ranges in the last two years, the Appalachians just seem like hills. They’re still pretty, but breathtaking has long not been a word I can use to describe them. I can still say "aaah", though.

      ... get a photo of something official to prove I’d actually been in West Virginia! … and then I was in Virginia about 10 minutes later, still on a busy freeway.
