The Northeast of Brazil is where I will spend the last weeks of my journey through South America - enjoying its beaches, colonial history and lively African culture. My trip along Brazil's Northeastern shore will start at São Luis - an old slaving port with a relaxed atmosphere (but lively weekends), a centre where most of the old houses are covered in colonial tiles and where reggae is the music of choice - and end at Salvador de Bahia with a flight back home on 20th April.
