I was getting my hair done at Shear Perfection / Hair Port, when Rosemary strolled in to get her hair done. As we finished up, in walked Marti, ready to do her great work there, and it turned out her first customer was Gayle! What a small world, and what a great level of excitement! Thought we'd document this with a picture.
... There is a trail called the Root River State Trail that comes right through the area, so lots of people were there with their bikes. The restaurant is a huge white barn with tons of artifacts inside, and fantastic food, so we really lucked out. We met a couple at the campsite next to us and had supper with them - a really nice night out.
Well pilgrims the day has finally come to get the old peepers fixed. (Peeprs are eyes Eloise, jeez). Anyhow I pulled out of Scott's Campground in Waterville after having breakfast at the corner bar in Elysian. I met me brudder and all the "lake people" for a fond fare thee well, which I greatly appreciated.

Day 12 - New Prague to West Concord
The Asteria Motel in New Prague has comfortable beds. I can verify this because last night I slept nearly 10 hours in one! At 7:30 am, Dave and I woke up to the sound of Haydynne and Becca knocking on our door on their way down to breakfast.
