Arrived in Little Rock about 5:00 PM. Travel was uneventful with good weather and very little traffic which is the way we like it. Spent the day in Little Rock, Arkansas.
We rode our bikes as far around the Arkansas River Trail as far as we could, which turned out not to be very far. The temperature was around 92 and at least 300% humidity (: We did fine on the part that was down by the water but then it moved inward to the city proper and the added radiant heat from the concrete did us in. ... match went to penalty kicks. Brazil won the match on a 3 to 2 on the PK. I have never been much of a futbol fan, but I am getting in to the World Cup. Remember to root for the USA on Tuesday.
After getting everything settled for the night, we are off to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Looking forward to an ice cold martini and a good steak and salad for dinner.
