      We had a beautiful day in Montreal. And yes , Mary Ellen it is a wonderful city. Last night we walked to Vieux Ville and had dinner. There are buildings that date back to the 1700's.       ... I was somewhat prepared and had an unsigned (they require it to be signed) email from Tom stating his consent. I fumbled around for so long trying to locate it amongst my other pieces of folded paper that eventually the customs officer said "that's fine, as long as you carry it with you at all times."
