      Like I said before, we’re “pack ‘er all in there” travelers,
      (or we were this trip) so naturally, instead of having a fairly long train ride
      all the way back to Rochefort, from Monaco, we decided to break it up a bit by
      going to Lyon…..and then we still had a fairly long train ride back to
      Rochefort, but hey, we got to see another city and am I ever glad we got to see
      Lyon, because it was a nice one!

      ... were ushered from the deck, even the lower bit in front of the bridge. Boy those bridges were low but we made it through Lyon. The water levels are of constant concern. Hopefully we can now race the rising water to the Mediterranean Sea and still get under all the bridges. On to Vienne, dinner (yes, eating again) at the fancy restaurant at the back of the ship and maybe a walk around Vienne after dinner to see the Roman ...

      So, this morning we took the high speed train from Avignon to Lyon. A taxi took us to a location near our bed and breakfast...stopped on a little road at the top of a stairwell and said: here you are. The address of our stay is "12 Montee de la Greillon", what we have discovered is the Montee does not mean a road of some sort, it means a stairway....a long rock or stone stairway...that felt even ...
