So me and Kate have looked after two smashed people now... Our two other room mates are passed out and as we try to help them get to bed they are running away and locking themselves in toilets after we have literally dragged them into bed because they "couldn't walk" so we have given up, told them we aren't rooming with them anymore and left them to sleep where ever they are. Today was a day filled with lots of traveling to reach Lyon. The first stop was at La Fontainebleau, where a stunning chateau of Napolean was the site of the day. The scenic hills of the vineyards surrounded us as we were given the opportunity to taste some of the award winning wine along with some ...

... wound up. I strolled past the Ancien Palais de Justice, the Maison Thomassin, the Ampitheatre Gallo-Romain and the Opera House before pausing in the evening by the magnificent Bartholdi Fountain – made of lead on an iron frame, the 21 tonne, 4.85m tall allegorical representation of the River Garonne was originally destined for Bordeaux who thought it too ostentatious! This takes the form of a woman and child with ...

Lyon. The third biggest city of France, yet with such a local and cozy feeling to it. Beautiful tall buildings towering over narrow streets.

One of the first things we saw were an awesome looking castle up in the nearby mountains on the outskirts of town. "So this is where Disneyland Paris is. Well, no way we are getting there with just one day here." But how wrong was I!

Lyon like creepy dolls. If you could view the stores of Lyon as a pie ...
