... an hour before us so we sent her into the garden to pick nanking cherries and she was very happy.

When mom and I finally arrived at Rimbey, we pitched in and helped pick raspberries. We picked most of one side of the raspberry bushes and the bucket was full. So many berries, so little time.

I returned to Ponoka to spend the night at Julie's home so I could catch up with. Julie before leaving the area.

        Roaming through family history

... me the headstones are all on the internet. The decision to head home promptly turned out to be very fortunate as a severe hailstorm hit 30 minutes after Denny drove through the town of Airdrie and damaged 75% of the cars in that town. I think 25% of the cars must have been in their garages or out of town.

This was a truly blessed day in so many ways. Thank you to both Cathie and Denny for taking me home and for taking me exploring the family tree.

... will hopefully get a great education on dinosaurs. Then off to Calgary where we may hand out some resumes, and then into the mountains. We're pretty excited to see just how big they are, but it could be another chilly night tonight.

        Talk to you soon!
