    Another great sleep in today re-energising for the early morning tomorrow when we have to get up and be ready for our 3 am shuttle pick up. We left the hotel and headed for the underground station to have a look at the Pentagon. We walked around the Pentagon and then towards the memorial.     ... myself off on a (somewhat damp) rediscovery of downtown (just 25 minutes walk to the Capitol building) before finally admitting defeat to the elements and retreating onto the subway and going out to eat in the food court at Union Station (again bringing back memories of being there with the boys many years ago).     ... in one area. We spend about an hour stuck in Philadelphia. Then go through Baltimore and finally into Washington. We expected to get in at 4:30 not 7 so we are starving.
