      ... We met a couple from Florida who ordered the Orca Platter which consisted of a lobster, 6 crab claws, 6 clams, 24 oysters and 12 large shrimps at a total cost of US126.95. Luckily it was Happy Hour and they got it for half price. The most surprising thing was they managed to eat it all.

      We had some great meals in Washington, the choices are great. We had Indian, Chinese and Italian and they were all good.

      Our only disappointment was our flight ...

      ... the world war 2 memorial Fountain which when lit up at night was stunning. We walked along the reflection pool that runs between the World War Two memorial and the Lincoln memorial. By the time we'd climbed the stairs to Lincoln you had a lovely view across the reflection pool with the Washington monument in the water. So pretty.       ... felt a bit like that. Our tour of the capitol was awesome! We had a great tour guide who really loved her job! She was very sweet and animated and reminded us of Imogene Coca. My favorite part of the tour was the spot in where the old house used to meet because there was one specific spot on the floor where you could stand and hear people way at the other end of the room as if they were standing next to you!
