The 3 week count down begins... This **** is getting reall!!!! Seeing as we all agreed to go travelling on Christmas Eve last year (and even that was a passing conversation- nobody really thought it was actually going to happen this year), it has gone so fast!!! ... did overrun this magical place, in 1953, when its shallow mountain stream became a roaring river but the people & the place recovered and its just picture postcard perfect now. One of its nicknames is little Switzerland and it has that look, all spires, lazy chimney smoke spiralling upwards and birds flying below you when you look down from Lynton towards Lynmouth.
