    We eventually got to Dylan Thomas boat house today. Now I have to read some of his books and poetry. He is a big hero around here.
    We have also visited national botanic gardens, which had a large West Australian part in the hot house. Not as many trees as Brisbane or Melbourne gardens, mainly flowers which were lovely.

    ... to Laugharne with us doing a scenic route. Had dinner at another pub in town. Ebony stayed the night with us.
    Next day we all went to Tenby a portside town. It was wonderful and doing a thriving tourist business. Spent several hours there before taking Ebony back to Rye.

    ... as Cardiff was heavily bombed. They are still set up with gas masks, bunk beds, and even a canteen - and a recording of bombing sounds plays as you go through them. This is really eerie and gives some sense of the terror of those times. And to finish off the different buildings/ages, there's a brand new glass visitor centre and cafe.
