For our first night's stay after riding in a bus all day long, this Holiday Inn was a very welcome site! Everything was great. I think the students especially enjoyed swimming in the pool! The best part was that the students were really great. I don't think any of the instructors were called out of their rooms to take care of any disturbances! I was very proud of our group!

... It was quite a nice drive.

Arriving into town, we knew we had made a change in scenery from Florida. The streets here in Savannah are gorgeous ; more about that later. The population here is 150,000.

We checked in at our hotel The "Thunderbird Inn." This is a very retro/bohemian hotel and attracts a lot of young backpackers and hippies. It's nice and clean and has all the amenities we could need.
