For our first night's stay after riding in a bus all day long, this Holiday Inn was a very welcome site! Everything was great. I think the students especially enjoyed swimming in the pool! The best part was that the students were really great. I don't think any of the instructors were called out of their rooms to take care of any disturbances! I was very proud of our group!

... anything else. Soooo they had two staircases to keep temptation away from the dastardly devils that had top hats on. The horrors of it all. I wondered what would happen if these guys would be reincarnated again and land on Malibu beach in August....Gazooks, they'd they'd run around with that 4 hour Viagra symptom thing that they advertise on TV. Anyhow, I do truly love the town of Savanna and will return again one day. ...

After a few days in Charleston, we packed up and headed to our next destination on our way home...Savannah. But first, we stopped at the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force.

The Eighth Bomber Command (Re-designated 8th AF in February 1944) was activated as part of the United States Army Air Forces January 28, 1942, at Hunter Field in Savannah, Georgia. Brigadier General Ira C. Eaker took the headquarters to England the next ...

... was covered in these oaks as well as most of Southern South Carolina and Georgia.  One of the paths near the building which allowed water to flood the rice fields had two gators sun bathing near the water. Kelsey scared the %^#$ out of me as I was taking a picture with my back to them, “Oh my gosh look out behind you!” They didn't move an inch, but I did jump right out of my skin. The Charleston area was really great, but it was time to get ...

We had lunch one day in a Wright Square cafe owned by two friends of Amy, our Diamond Cove realtor. She had told the owners that we would call in so we were made to feel very welcome and given some complimentary desserts.

So how does Savannah compare to Charleston? Or should we even do that comparison? Probably not. Savannah seems like a bigger, busier city. Its great ...
