    ... Amish.

The sound of the big Standardbreds trotting down the road carries so that you can hear them coming long before you see them.

We were able to talk with several of the Amish that were in and around then campground. One night we ate at Mrs. Yoder's Restaurant, one of several places to ...

Even more interesting, we are right in the middle of Ohio's Amish country. In fact Holmes County, Ohio is the home of the world's largest Amish settlement. We saw our first Amish horse and buggy trotting down the road as we drove up to the RV park.

    A good day all around.

Bye for now and stay ...

We spent Saturday moseying around the city and walking through Central Park and then spent the evening at a beautiful beach in Brooklyn. We woke up bright and early Sunday morning, had breakfast and showered and were on the road by 10:00 for Ohio! We drove through New Jersey, Pennsylvania and the tip of West Virginia on our 10 hour drive. We also snagged some wifi at ...
