      It's a long 4 hour drive from Savannah back to Atlanta so we are breaking our journey in Warm Springs. On the way we call in at Ockomugee near Macon to stretch our legs.       ... It's rare that my family gets to all get together!

      As per usual, I am being pretty neurotic about packing. I have not packed for long-term travels for fall/winter weather. I am planning on taking a large suitcase, a duffle bag, and a backpack. I hate to overpack, but it will be worse to have to scramble to purchase winter clothes in Stockholm!

      ... that the state was particularly known for. Some of the states went all hour had had the particular type of stone carved in the shape of the state - some even etched with the capitol.       We drove through all the roads, got out and walked among the "what would have been" spectacular azalea gardens, and went to the museum and the greenhouses, saw a bird show, the butterfly gardens, the Victory Garden South, and Mr. Cason's Garden; and made a full day of it anyway.
