... Franklin D. Roosevelt's second home and escape from the pressures of being president. He originally came to warm springs as he had heard the water brought relief for polio suffers. The Little White House is also where he died whilst having his portrait painted. It's now been turned into a museum about FDR's life and the changes he made during his ...

The purpose was to have different kinds ...

      ... deal to us.

We drove through all the roads, got out and walked among the "what would have been" spectacular azalea gardens, and went to the museum and the greenhouses, saw a bird show, the butterfly gardens, the Victory Garden South, and Mr. Cason's Garden; and made a full day of it anyway.

Definitely worth another stop at a better time of ...

... hot. We heard about raptors (an owl, two hawks, and a vulture) which flew over the crowd during the presentation.

Callaway Gardens is huge. We drove our vehicle to see the many sights. We visited the chapel, the horticulture center, the vegetable garden, and other sights. We walked 4.5 miles today. We were very tired.
