After that we headed back to the condo for lunch and then back out for mini golf and swimming. We finished up the day with dinner, ice cream and a family board game. It was a nice slow day to finish off the trip.
Beautiful day for touring. went just under 200 miles (tank of gas) with no rain! Stopped to take some photo's off a bridge and coming back I heard the rushing of water over rocks, birds chirping and I though heck with this mush lets get riding again. Again this morning it was raining. Undeterred, I put on my rain gear and proceeded to ride on a 214 mile tour today. The rain stopped within 15 mins and I was more wet inside my rain clothes just from heat and perspiration. Thank heaven for stay dry t-shirts! Yep got poured on but then as fast as it came it went leaving me to blow-dry myself dry.
Moved this morning from the dirty motel to a wonderful 'cabin' up by the Ozark Folk Center. Is run by the State so it's very clean (picture tomorrow - too tired today). I am currently sitting in one of the two rocking chairs. There are two double beds and floor to ceiling windows on three sides.
