If you remember, Sat night dinner was catered by an outfit called Natty Flats BBQ so after turning south on 281, we ...

The last couple of days in Lake Conroe have been quite stormy, with some wild skies, wicked winds, and plenty of rain, but at least we didn't get any of the predicted hail, which had us pretty worried for our shiny new car!

Today was the first time we've put the new car on the tow dolly and towed it behind the "home", so we stopped frequently to make sure all was well - and it ...

Mom & Dad arrived today and picked up Major from school. Fall Break is not something I ever experienced as a child growing up. In most schools in Texas, they only have a Spring Break. Major's school is a bit different in that they start early in August and then allow for a fall break around this time of year. This is the first year they've started doing it so it's taking some getting used to for us. ...
