... desert later in the evening. All in all we could not have asked for friendlier and more accommodating people. During our Northern American travels we have experienced such friendliness and more than any of our previous trips.

Another fun day and ready for the golf at East Lake tomorrow.

... car return and it was time for dinner.

We walked 30mins to midtown to a fantastic southern style restaurant called Mary Mac's Tea Rooms which was established in 1945. Great southern food; fried chicken, shrimp and grits, cheese and vegetable soufflé, mac 'n' cheese (but not as you know it). A rather popular restaurant as we understand it.

We look forward to exploring Atlanta tomorrow.

... was going well. We quickly bought some American sweets and cherry coke, ran to the smokers' lounge (it weirdly smelt just like an old English pub back in the smoking days...) and made it to boarding just in time (we had a short connection)... And back on the plane for another 6 and a half hours, more movies and more airplane ...

... to the waters edge and let the waves wash over my feet. The Atlantic was cold. To me, though it was warm, it didn't feel like it was beach weather. It was just not hot enough and there was a bit of wind. The temperature of the water also told me to avoid taking a dip. Some swimmers were enjoying the water however. Maybe I'm just a snob as the beach didn't impress me. I swung around and headed back to the hotel. I was hungry and decided I would eat at ...

... was very sad going to bed this night... realizing I won't have my house that way again for a long time if ever. The dynamics of the house with the cats Patio, Mahbub and Kayla, and the energy of Joshua rolling on the exercise ball, and talking incessantly about the interesting habits of the cats. My sweet quiet times in my yard, and the comfort of my space when I am needing rest and comfort. And my nice neighbors... I was missing it all.
