While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement. That's all for now. Sorry if you found this post boring, but sometimes you just gotta gloat. Love you ...

... Then we walked to the actual gangway to the ship. As I walked up the gangway and was standing over the water, I realized then that I would be leaving Thor for a week. Totally broke my heart. Once we entered the ship, a Carnival security guard checked our sail & sign and picture id one last time. We were officially onboard Carnival's Fascination! Now the mad dash to the Shore Excursion Desk!!! Ok, the reason for us to get to the boat super early is because we booked a ...

After a six-hour drive, we arrived in the quaint city of St. Augustine. The seaside town, with its Spanish-influenced architecture, moss-dripped trees and sailboats sprinkled along the bay, brought to mind other cities we have visited: Key West, San Diego and even New Orleans. Our home for the next few days was the Bayfront ...
