    ... walked down to get dinner... Went to a pizza restaurant! Wow- it was REALLY good pizza. Wood fired and super thin crust! Delicious! I wore my Minnesota Vikings shirt so I definitely fitted in quite well. I'm enjoying Minnesota so far! People are just really easy to strike up conversation with and most people you walk by will smile at you. Minnesota is a state that is very livable but the freezing cold winters put me off living here!!! Another full day for tomorrow... Time is going too quickly! ...

    The trip was 8 hours and we were only 30mins late, getting in.We were met by Grace and Carroll (Michael's parents) and taken to our hotel. It was a converted railway repair shop complete with the rails still in the floor! The rooms had been fitted out inside leaving the original shape. the main doors remain.     ... of the day, but the sun finally began to shine around 4pm and the city really came to life. I enjoyed spending more time by the river looking around. I also cut short my walk to the U of M to get pictures of the Weissman building (I didn’t get lost this time!). You have to settle for pictures of the museum from the bridge because my feet would not tolerate me going all the way across and down the hill for the really good angle.
