    Early start today to be at the zoo for 9 am. Wow what a place, it took us 8hrs to see the whole thing ... We were also very lucky (through a friend of Karen's) to get a behind the scenes tour & talk of the reptile section of the zoo, which included feeding the giant Galapagos tortoise & scratching them under their chins!!     ... places, and basic backpacker places too. The farther south you go, the quieter! 3/4 of the island is jungle! Best place to stay- Oasis in Lonely beach- mid range to basic. *2. Ko Wai- small island, mainly visited by a day trip. 1 hour from Ko Chang by boat. 4 places to stay, very basic! No internet, limited electricity. Beautiful water and beaches.     ... South Pacific with them. The documentary was awesome and just made Dan and I want to run back to Fiji and start diving again. At one point the young boy who was the main focus of the documentary was surrounded by six whale sharks in West Papua as well as manta rays and all sorts of other amazing marine creatures.     ... which Des had so looked forward too. After ordering our meals and toasting our wine glasses Bella got tooth ache and we had to abort our delicious meal to fetch her calpol and get her to bed, great!! With our food in take out boxes the kids made Des their restaurant in the hotel room, ran him a bath, gave him a massage and fed him cold squid. What more could we ask ...
