It`s the day before the long awaited trip to the USA. The packing is complete. Martin and Sheila are starting the holiday early as they have tickets for Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons at the NEC so Chris and Gill will meet them at the airport tomorrow to check in at 6.30am. Our flight departs at 9.00am for Newark where we have about 4 hours to kill before flying onto Las Vegas.

We really enjoyed spending time with Dawnie - our chauffeur, fashion advisor, tour guide and general advice counselor. Thank you Dawnie!

... into a bar....and was something we eventually put into affect. The motorbike was moved, engine parts put into boxes and then put in the shed "for storage".

After we converted the garage into a bar, thoughts finally turned around to fixing the Triumph, that was three years ago, so a new crank was purchased along with con-rods sourced from the USA. The frame was powder coated, new mudguards were purchased and things started to take shape. ...

... to the top left along the banks of the river. There was plenty of activity with joggers, cyclists and 4 man and. 8 man boats from the local boat club sculling up and down . The weather had been really kind to us, and with no wind the temperature was really warm as the sun set. We had a light sandwich. ( after our large lunch) for evening meal (great salad garnish ! ) in a local pub before retiring back to our posh drapers hall boutique ...
