Our final attempt
We made it to Dover and I rushed to the check-in counter. The first flight to Ramstein had already been filled. They had finished roll-call for the second flight but there were still some seats left. These quickly went to some higher-priority travelers that come here with us and the rest of us were left with one last flight to Spangdahlem, Germany.

Left idyllic Kitty Hawk to continue our ride northward and homeward. The trek is coming to an end. Crossed over the Chesapeake by tunnels and bridges. It is pretty neat to be in the middle of the bay surrounded by the big container ships and little fishing boats. Stan was impressed with the tunnels but the Lafontaine has kind of spoiled me, I guess!! I preferred the bridges. Should be heading towards Amish town Pa tomorrow. When You Get Up at 3:30 a.m....
