    Ed played golf today at SaddleBrooke Ranch golf course, about 15 minutes north of Ilene's home. Was paired with 3 guys from Minneapolis area. We had a ball! Almost as much fun as playing with my Michigan crowd. Shot 86, and hit the ball way better than Saturday. Won $1 ...

    ... to be "stretched out" to fill up 3.5 hours. Driving down was interesting - we had to keep only parking lights for the first three miles to eliminate light pollution. Got home at 11:00 PM. Late for Michiganders still sort of on Eastern Time. Once again, beautiful weather, but close to 40F on the mountain, with winds.

    Today we went to Sabino Canyon. Tom, Carole, Dave and myself took the tram up to the top of the mountain and then hiked back three miles. It was a nice hike, the weather was 75 and sunny. I took many pictures. I still havent seen a roadrunner but I did find one in the museum which I took a picture of. We purchased an annual pass for the parks for $80. This ...

    ... The grounds are beautiful ... Where 42 monks now live... we found that they still have a dress code, which we didn't meet ... long pants, long sleeve shirts, shoes, skirts, scarfs... but the drive to the Monastery and the visual sights of their property tells us that the dress code is worth the time and effort so we're headed back on a cooler day ...

    ... and exhibits. There was even a tiny piece of Moon rock on display. By this time I was too overwhelmed and tired to appreciate it fully. I had allowed a day for the tours but to do it properly it would take at least two or three days.
    Tonight I had the best meal of the trip. I ate at a Mexican restaurant and had Red Chile con Carne Chimichanga with a guacamole taco. I was in heaven. So, if you are ever in Tucson I highly recommend Guillermo's Restaurant on S. 4th Ave.
