        ... water. We spotted 2 fawns in the trees, tried to take photos but they were too quick and it was dark for the camera with all the trees around. The fawns were having a ball just running around here and there but coming back to their spot. There were storms all around but just missing us going by the weather radar, lucky.

        ... cat-sitting for us while we're gone. This has been one of the hottest weeks on record, (100-103 degrees for 4 or 5 days in a row), and we've had very little rain all month, so one of the necessary tasks the night before we leave is watering the flowers.

        ... on the road. We stopped at Culver's for supper, and arrived home at 12:45 a.m. (MI time, 11:45 MN time), making the trip, with shopping, in about 15:45. We were tired, but thankful to be home and looking forward to sleeping in our own beds again. We were also thankful for another great vacation at Cass Lake and can't wait til next year!
